The website does not have forms or accounts. When you contact HairVen by phone, text message, Instagram or email, you may share information such as:

• your name, phone number, Instagram username or email address;
• the content of your messages, including the hairstyle you are interested in;
• inspiration photos or photos of your hair that you choose to send; and
• details needed to discuss and arrange an appointment.

Please share only what is needed to discuss your hairstyle and appointment.

• No cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. The website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking tools.
• Hosting. The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like any website host, Vercel automatically processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. HairVen does not use this information to identify visitors.
• Your selected look. If you choose a hairstyle in the lookbook and open the booking page, your browser remembers which look you chose for the rest of your browsing session. This is stored only in your own browser (session storage), is not sent to HairVen, contains no personal information, and is cleared when the browser session ends.
• No third-party content on load. Fonts, images and videos are served from hairvenhd.com itself.

HairVen uses the information you share to:

• respond to your questions and appointment enquiries;
• discuss your preferred style, timing and appointment details, and provide our services;
• communicate with you about your appointment; and
• meet legal or regulatory obligations.

HairVen does not sell personal information. We use it only for the purposes above, or for other purposes with your consent or as permitted or required by law.

Photos and videos of clients appear on the website and on HairVen’s Instagram only with the client’s permission. If you appear in HairVen’s portfolio and would like an image removed, contact us using the details above and we will remove it from the website.

HairVen does not share your personal information with others for their own marketing. Your information may be handled by the services you choose to use to reach us, and by the providers that help us run the website, including:

• your and our phone and messaging carriers, for calls and text messages;
• Instagram (Meta Platforms), for direct messages sent through Instagram;
• Google, which provides HairVen’s email service; and
• Vercel Inc., which hosts the website.

Some of these providers are located outside Canada, including in the United States, so information may be stored or processed outside Canada and may be subject to the laws of those countries. You can contact us for more information about how these service providers handle personal information. We may also disclose information where required or authorized by law.

The website links to Instagram and uses your device’s phone and messaging apps when you tap to call or text. Those platforms have their own privacy practices, which we encourage you to review. HairVen is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party platforms.

HairVen keeps personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law, and then deletes or destroys it. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. The website is served over a secure HTTPS connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information that we do not need.

You may ask HairVen to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you and how it has been used or disclosed;
• correct personal information that is inaccurate or incomplete; or
• withdraw your consent to our use of your information, including portfolio images of you.

The website is intended for a general audience. Appointment enquiries for anyone under 18 should be made by, or with the involvement of, a parent or guardian.
